Job Search Success Story: Math Teacher Joe Barresi

Here is a wonderful job search success story to help inspire you. Joe Barresi beat the odds. Last March, just months before graduation from Providence College, Joe got a job offer to be a teacher. In fact, he had more than one job offer— and he’ll tell you it wasn’t because he majored in math!

What made Joe successful was his ability to market himself. More specifically, Joe targeted particular schools, customized his resume and cover letter, and timed his job search efforts—something other college students can learn to do as well.
