I’m graduating college in May and I’m worried about what employers may find on the internet. It’s not that I’m worried that there’s anything really bad, I just would rather know so I can delete anything that may appear unprofessional. Is there a way to make sure employers are finding the good stuff and not the bad?

Ugh. Good question. When i did a Google check on myself I didnt find anything bad, but I did find a bunch of stuff that was outdated- accounts I had forgotten about etc. Now that personal branding has become so popular, that kind of stuff is becoming more and more popular. Make sure you set up a Google Alert on yourself- that what I did… granted, my name is pretty unique. Good luck!

I’ve used https://brandyourself.com/ for online reputation management and personal branding. It’s free and easy to use!

Thank you Heather! I never knew about Google Alerts. and Thank you Samantha, that site is very helpful. Time to do some spring cleaning! 🙂
